We are often asked if a log home can have a basement. Absolutely! Of course, as for any home, the building site will determine the feasibility for a basement. We recommend using Insulated Concrete Forms for a crawlspace foundation wall and basement walls. The energy efficiency, and strength of this technology will only serve to enhance the energy efficiency of your log home.

Manufactured stone is the perfect accent of nature for log homes. We can help you design and install your fireplace, foundation covering or accent areas. Many stone styles and colors to choose from; our displays also show how to achieve a unique look by combining stone styles.  We also offer a range of wood burning, direct vent or vent-free gas fireplaces.

Many folks simply do not have the time to schedule and oversee the various sub-contractors needed to construct a home. This is why we offer our ‘turn-key’ service. You will still be involved in choosing finishing materials for your home, but we will do the scheduling and oversight of the work for you. Today’s technology makes it easier to have input without actually having to be ‘on site’ frequently, making the whole process more convenient for your schedule.
